Plan your event

Good production starts with the right questions.

You do not need to speak the technical language. Start with the people, the program and the place; those decisions give the production its direction.

Three things to bring to the first conversation.

  • The people

Who is attending, how many guests you expect, and whether anyone is joining online.

  • The program

What guests should see, hear and remember: presentations, panels, performances or a celebration.

  • The place

Your venue, date and access times. A floor plan or a few room photos help if you have them.

You can start with an idea.

Bring what you know about the event. A producer will ask the next questions and help shape the plan.
